Black Business Month is here. It is officially August- a time to recognize the importance of African American businesses in our society!

Over a decade ago, Frederick E. Jordan and John William Templeton, both African American entrepreneurs, set out to declare August as Black Business Month. Years later, it is nationally recognized!

Black Business Month brings awareness to African American businesses and their contribution to society, the economy, and the community! This month is a time to create a friendlier environment for Black owned businesses to grow.

Our Servpro of Scarsdale / Mount Vernon seeks an experienced marketer, who will visit our key clients each month, build relationships and stay on radar with our insurance and commercial property clients. This is not a conventional sales or retail position.

Base Pay: Compensation will be based on experience in outside marketing position(s). Reimbursements for mileage and expenses are included.

We are looking for a personable marketing representative to visit our existing clients in Westchester County. You will build and maintain existing relationships and promote our restoration and renovations businesses. This can be a part- to full-time position, with some evening and weekend networking events, -- that are scheduled in advance. Our top candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as a professional image, while promoting our company to local Westchester executives and their staff. Social Media skills and interests are a PLUS!

Requirements:

Creative networking skills and a professional, personable approach to clients
Excellent organization & follow up skills.
Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, etc); interest in posting to Facebook, Twitter & Integra is a plus!
Self motivated, with a go-getter attitude.
Responsible for daily client visits / contact updates and names, and a reliable work ethic.
Local travel in limited region is required, with mileage stipend and advanced notice.
Reliable vehicle for outside / route sales

Support Marketing manager and team, plus staff and crews during emergency events, as needed
